The striking sunburst marquetry top, rendered in burl wood veneers, and the turned pedestal and swept tripod base pay homage to the classical forms that defined Federal-era craftsmanship. Finished throughout in durable PU lacquer, the piece makes itself at home in any curated living space.

INSPIRATION

The Edgar Side Table was inspired by a center table in The Met collection, created by Philadelphia-based craftsman Anthony G. Quervelle (French, 1789–1856). Paris-born Quervelle was a distinguished creator of Empire-style furniture, a design movement that originated in France during the reign of Napoleon I..
